소나기

소나기 [Rain Shower] is one of Boohwal’s golden songs. In many occasions, Boohwal members were asked what their favorite song is among the many Boohwal’s songs. Most of the time, each member answer a song they personally wrote ^^;; One time, they were asked the song they’d like to hear when it rains. Chae Jemin and Kim Taewon answered this song simultaneously. Btw, the song is written and composed by Kim Tae-Won.

소나기 is a very special song, I think, because it has been sang since 1993, or over 17 years now. All Boohwal’s vocals sang this song, except for Lee Seung-Chul. And this song is also inserted in to five different albums. Let’s see…

P.S. Some people might like one or some of the vocals more than the others. I have my preferences as well for different songs. But please don’t post comments that undermine one of the other vocals.

Inserted in Boohwal’s 3rd album. Kim Tae-Won brought this song on his solo guitar performance on their concert last May 21st. (Boohwal concert usually gives an average of 5-minutes time for each member to play solo).

기다림을 억누른다는 건 지나간 상황을 뛰어넘고자 실행하는 처음이다.

The album was released in 1993, 6 years after Boohwal’s first vocalist Lee Seung-Cheol left the band.
The only time Boohwal only had two members. Drummer and Bassist were additional musicians (session).

The album was a big success, the song “The More I Love” made a big hit. Sold out over 100,000 copies.
